Hosting Providers Tab
The Hosting Providers tab enables you to identify, compare, and contrast the many hosting providers an entity relies upon to make its domains and subdomains available to the internet. For each hosting provider, two different metrics are listed to enable you to rank hosting provider dependency: asset percentage and resolution percentage. Asset percentage is the number of hostnames that have been observed to be hosted within a given hosting provider relative to the total number of hostnames associated with the entity. Resolution percentage is the number of observations that were resolved by a given hosting provider (identified by IP address) relative to the total number of resolved observations for all hosting providers associated with the entity. Both of these values enable you to identify the many different levels of dependency an entity may have on different hosting providers. The data is based on a rolling 14-day window of observations as well as footprint refreshes or changes.
